Dean Dransfield – Director
Dean Dransfield established Dransfield Hotels & Resorts in 1993. Dean has
been involved in the full range of projects undertaken by the organisation
involving over 30,000 rooms in more than 300 enterprises. Dean’s focus
is on providing forward looking value added advice, a philosophy that created
the Hotel Futures series in 1997, which is regularly commented on in the media.
Dean regularly provides expert advice in litigation matters and prospectuses.
Dean is a Chartered Accountant and prior to establishing
Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, worked as an insolvency practitioner for
10 years managing and selling assets with a combined value over $1 billion,
including many tourism related enterprises.

Trent Ottawa – Director
Trent Ottawa joined Dransfield in 2002 and is a Chartered Accountant. Trent has undertaken a full range of hotel and resort projects from operational management, greenfield site development, structured financial
analysis and litigation support. More recently, Trent was
involved in the financing, acquisition, operation and development of a portfolio
of tourism property assets with a combined value over $100M. Prior to commencing
with Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, Trent worked as an insolvency practitioner
where he assisted in a variety of insolvency engagements.

Grace Lam - Manager
Grace joined Dransfield in 2007. Her background is in investment banking, specialising in project finance. Grace has experience across a range of sectors including property, transport and other infrastructure assets. Grace’s experience also includes commercial and financial transaction structuring, feasibility assessments, risk analysis and transaction execution. During her time at Dransfield, Grace has assisted in the preparation of independent expert reports, feasibility assessments and litigation support.

Jeff Ackland – Development Manager
Jeff Ackland holds a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management. Prior to joining Dransfield, Jeff was EcoPoint Management's Development Manager responsible for five operating assets with a combined value of $100M. Jeff co-ordinated a range of development activities including one “Greenfield” site development and two resort redevelopments. Prior to EcoPoint, Jeff worked for Accor for eight years in a range of
engineering and project manager roles. Jeff has extensive experience in
property and construction management with a particular focus on sustainability and environmental compliance. From project inception to
completion, Jeff's experience includes identification of stakeholder’s
requirements, master planning, feasibility reviews, project management, cost
control and project auditing.

Emma Lindell – Consultant
Emma Lindell holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree, majoring in Economics. Prior to commencing with Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, Emma worked for a large European asset management company and had exposure to a wide range of finance, marketing and environmental management roles. Since commencing with Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, Emma has assisted on a variety of engagements including
the preparation of feasibility assessments, transaction management, independent
expert’s reports as well as hotel investment research and financial analysis.

Scot McLaughlin – Consultant
Scot McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Prior to joining Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, Scot worked in the banking sector undertaking a range of roles including financial budgeting, forecasting, site assessments, leasing proposals, growth strategies and capital investment programs. Since joining Dransfield, Scot has undertaken a wide range of activities including development feasibility assessments, complex financial analysis, development of detailed financial analysis templates, applied industry research and operating asset reporting.
