Dean Dransfield established Dransfield Hotels & Resorts in 1993.

Dean has been involved in the full range of projects undertaken by the organisation involving over 30,000 rooms in more than 300 enterprises.

Dean’s focus is on providing forward looking value added advice, a philosophy that created the Hotel Futures series in 1997, which is regularly commented on in the media.

Dean regularly provides expert advice in litigation matters and prospectuses.

Dean is a Chartered Accountant and prior to establishing Dransfield Hotels & Resorts, worked as an insolvency practitioner for 10 years managing and selling assets with a combined value over $1 billion, including many tourism related enterprises.

James Sabot Consultant & Responsible Manager for DMSL

 

James Sabot is an accomplished executive with extensive international experience primarily in the resort/vacation industry.  A hands on practitioner with a proven track record, James has been responsible for the production of over $600 million in revenue in the last decade, mostly in Australia. 

James has spent much of the last several years as Chief Operating Officer of one of the industry's largest players, and has long specialised in the sales & marketing of resort products. 

James advises Dransfield Shared Ownership on its overall business strategy with a focus on sales & marketing and provides international consultancy services to various companies.

Scot McLaughlin Consultant

 

Scot holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. 

Scot has undertaken a wide range of advisory activities at Dransfield including development feasibility assessments , complex financial analysis, development of project analysis templates, applied industry research and operating asset reporting.

Scot has developed particular expertise in the sales and marketing process for Dransfield Shared Ownership.

Prior to joining Dransfield, Scot worked in the banking sector. Roles included financial budgeting, forecasting, site assessments, leasing proposals, growth strategies and capital investment programs.

Grace Lam - Associate Director

 

Grace joined Dransfield in 2007.  Grace's background is in investment banking, specialising in project finance. 

Grace has experience across a range of industry sectors including property, transport and other infrastructure assets. 

Grace’s experience includes commercial and financial transaction structuring, feasibility assessments, risk analysis and transaction execution.  During her time at Dransfield, Grace has assisted in the preparation of independent expert reports, feasibility assessments and litigation support. 

Grace has developed particular expertise in the legal aspects of shared owership  and the Managed Investment areas of the Corporations Act including the issue of Product Disclosure Statements and scheme compliance.

Angus MacInnes Consultant & Director DMSL

 

Angus MacInnes is a development focused executive with 10 years significant experience in the development of small and large, complex mixed-use and residential projects along the Eastern seaboard of Australia. 

Angus has a Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).  Angus is a well rounded business professional, mature beyond his years who recognises the importance of delivering value. 

Angus provides Dransfield with additional development skills and advice in addition to their independent consulting activities.  Angus is currenly providing a listed funds manager with work through services on a substantial property debt exposure.

Amanda Mills - Office Manager

 

Amanda Mills has been with Dransfield Hotels & Resorts since 2005 and manages the support services relied on by the Group.
